How big should a freshman football player be?

i've always been little but i've always been the best at football compared to my teammates. im about to be a freshman and i want to know how big i should be or how big i should try to get.

Size isn't what you need to worry about, it takes heart and determination. Work for yourself is what will be best, the weight room and the practice field will help you get there as far as building muscle. Football is a great sport and I wish you all the best. thats the thing for freshman football u can be any size we had really really small guys play and really really big guys play size doesnt matter in freshman (or anywhere else but im trying to say that size wont give u a disadvantage or advantage in freshman) when people say "ur not big enough for lineman" they probably mean Varisty and yea go play
It doesn't matter really. It's all about skills and strength. Because I started for all four years at my high school and played nose guard. I was only 5'6" and was 145 lbs.
