All of them-- Pecks, Triceps, forearm, bicep, upper back, and shoulder . Also some core training and some added leg strength so you can push off to get more into the throw. Every good football player that I am aquainted with work out like mad men. They spend on average 3 hours a day in the gym 5 to 6 times a week.

Throwing a football 50 yards is not the hard part. The hard part is throwing it 50 yards under pressure and getting it on target. There are no muscles that will improve that. That just takes lots of practice.
im a de and i can throw it 55 yards id say your legs to get a push
its gotta be the triceps mate, the little bicep like muscle at the back of your arm
