Ha, ha...Well, the reason I rank Georgia at #8 is I liked Vince Dooley and Herschel Walker...and being a Notre Dame fan, I hate Miami... Report It

Notre Dame

Southern Cal

Ohio State

Michigan

Oklahoma

Nebraska

Army

Alabama

Yale

Miami or Texas

*3,4,5 could go in any order
#1 is 'The Grove' at Mississippi. It is a beautiful park where the tailgating begins early. Then the whole football team walks through shaking hands with the fans. It is surreal!
#1 michigan #2 N.D. #3 U.S.C. #4 ohio state #5 nebraska #6 texas #7 alabama#8 oklahoma #9 florida state #10 penn state

3

.
1 Michigan

2.Notre Dame

3.USC

4.Nebraska

5.Oklahoma

6. Alabama

7.Penn St

9.Texas

10.Ohio State
In terms of tradition, there are 10 teams that have the highest number of wins as well as the best winning percentages in the history ofcollegefootball. They are:

1. Michigan - 860 wins - .744%

2. Notre Dame - 821 wins - .743%

3. Nebraska - 812 wins - .706%

4. Texas - 810 wins - .713%

5. Ohio State - 788 wins - .713%

6. Penn State - 781 wins - .688%

7. Alabama - 780 wins - .709%

8. Oklahoma - 765 wins - .711%

9. Tennessee - 761 wins - .697%

10. Southern Cal - 743 - .702%

Boise State actually has a better winning percentage (.693%) than Penn State, but because they've only played 459 games and have only 317 wins in Division 1-A football, I do not consider them having great tradition at this time.
